About Lindsay

I first found yoga by attending classes at my local gym several years ago. Without any expectations, I was soon drawn in by the many facets of yoga including postures, breathwork and meditation working harmoniously to transform my mind and body.

 

Since then I have spent many hours practicing, learning about and teaching yoga to people from different backgrounds and abilities including martial artists through to pensioners and everything in between!

My yoga teacher training focused on Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga setting a solid foundation of knowledge on postures, alignment and anatomy, as well as ancient philosophy and ayurvedic health and cleansing.

​

With classes based in Hertfordshire, I take inspiration from this traditional form of yoga to create exciting and dynamic flows that build strength and balance in the body and mind. Expect elements of playfulness combined with grounding each week.

​

I appreciate that we are all unique individuals and so are our bodies. I encourage students to listen to the whispers of their body's intuition to guide their practice. Some days you may feel open to a challenging and invigorating practice, other days you may need something a little calmer. As a teacher it is my job to notice these subtleties and guide you along the way.
